Dispute Resolution, Governing Law, and Jurisdiction

Resolving Disputes

At Uniglo, customer satisfaction is a priority. If you experience a conflict related to the interpretation or fulfillment of a contract or these Terms, we encourage you to contact a Uniglo representative promptly to seek a resolution.

As a responsible business, Uniglo aligns with recognized dispute resolution channels. Consumers may reach out to trusted third-party platforms for mediation, such as:

  • Consumer Mediation Service of the Belgian Federal Government (via this link)
  • Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) portal of the European Union (via this link)

Uniglo has a zero-tolerance policy toward threats, defamation, intimidation, or any abusive behavior directed at our team. In such instances, communications will be escalated to our legal department, and necessary legal steps will be taken to ensure the safety and integrity of our staff.

Legal Jurisdiction

If no amicable resolution is reached, only the courts in the judicial district of Belgium, Belgium, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes. All legal proceedings will be conducted in Dutch. Uniglo may opt to communicate in English for convenience, but this is at Uniglo’s sole discretion and does not represent a legal obligation.

Governing Law

All matters concerning the validity, interpretation, performance, or termination of the contract are governed solely by Belgian law. Any foreign legal systems or conflict-of-law rules, including the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, will not apply.
