These terms apply to all purchases, interactions, and transactions between the customer and Uniglo Jewels, including contracts initiated online or offline. By engaging with Uniglo Jewels through our website or through direct correspondence, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these terms in full before proceeding with any order or payment.

They define the mutual responsibilities and expectations between you (the customer) and us (Uniglo).

No Exceptions Unless Agreed in Writing

Unless we’ve made a specific exception in writing, all customers agree to the terms outlined here. Any part of your own billing or general terms; if they differ from ours; do not apply to your transactions with Uniglo.

Purpose, Offers & Product Representation

Our Signature Collections & IP Protection

Uniglo designs and offers its exclusive jewelry under our own name and brand. All products are developed with attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship; and are legally protected under national and international intellectual property laws. That means no one can legally copy,reproduce, sell, or alter our designs or branding without written permission. Anyone attempting
to do so may be held legally responsible.

Real-Time Stock & Availability

While we do our best to keep our website up-to-date, the pieces shown are a curated reflection of our collection. Sometimes a product may be out of stock, under production, or delayed due to raw material availability. A purchase is only confirmed once your payment is received and we have verified product availability. If the product is no longer available or production isn’t feasible; for any reason; we’ll inform you promptly and refund your payment in full.

Price Transparency & Variability

Prices on our website serve as indicative estimates and may vary slightly based on raw material costs (such as rare diamonds or precious metals), design customization, or fluctuating market conditions. Once you receive a confirmed offer from Uniglo, the price stated in that offer becomes binding for the validity period stated.

Diamonds & Craft Adjustments

For products with pavé diamonds under 0.30 ct (like custom rings or bracelets), the number of diamonds shown is a close approximation. Small variations may occur based on size adjustments or design durability; but rest assured, they won’t affect the final price. In cases like earrings or pendants, the stated diamond count is typically exact.

Colored Gemstones & Certification

We take care to represent colored stones (like rubies, emeralds, and sapphires) as accurately as possible in terms of carat weight, color, and clarity. Slight visual differences may occur due to lighting, photography, or screen display. If you’d like precise verification, we can arrange third-party certification (extra charges and production delays may apply).

Gift Cards

If available, Uniglo gift checks can be purchased online or in showrooms. These can be redeemed online or in-store using a one-time code. The check’s value will be deducted from your total purchase cost (including applicable VAT). Any local or import taxes outside the EU are the customer’s responsibility.

Honest Communication & Corrections

While we strive for accuracy in all product information, images, and descriptions, occasional errors or omissions may occur. If anything seems unclear, feel free to contact us directly. If there’s ever a pricing or product error in your order or quote, we’ll notify you before shipment so you can decide whether to proceed or cancel; no surprises.

Articles Without Diamonds

Available Only for Existing Clients

At Uniglo, our specialty lies in fine diamond jewelry. While we primarily focus on diamond-set pieces, we do make an exception for clients who have already purchased diamond jewelry from us. As a service gesture, these clients may also request non-diamond jewelry such as plain gold wedding bands. However, this option is exclusively available to clients with a previous or
concurrent diamond jewelry purchase.

Purchases of non-diamond articles without any diamond jewelry purchase will not be accepted. In rare exceptions, such requests may be approved, but an additional shipping charge of €150 (excluding VAT) will apply for deliveries outside the EU. We will always inform the customer in advance, offering the choice to proceed with the additional fee or cancel the order for a full refund.

Visual Representation

We strive to present our jewellery as accurately and beautifully as possible through high-resolution images and detailed descriptions. Some images may be zoomed in or scaled down to better showcase craftsmanship. However, due to differences in screen settings and lighting conditions, actual colors and proportions may vary slightly from what you see online.

For pieces with colored gemstones, the images serve as references only. Natural light, screen brightness, and digital rendering can all influence how a stone appears on screen. These slight color differences are not grounds for complaint or dispute.

Product availability and pricing are subject to daily updates and may change based on material costs and inventory. While we do our best to keep the website current, an order is only confirmed once payment is received and we verify the product’s availability.

If a product becomes unavailable or cannot be produced due to unexpected circumstances; even after you’ve paid; we’ll issue a full refund and inform you promptly.

For designs featuring pavé diamonds under 0.30 ct, the diamond count shown is a close estimate that may vary slightly for structural or aesthetic reasons. In earrings, pendants, and similar items where size does not impact diamond count, the number displayed is exact.

Choosing the Right Ring Size

Responsibility for Size Selection

We offer several ways to help you find your correct ring size; from our Uniglo App and complimentary sizing tools to in-store measurement services. While our advisors can provide guidance, the final decision rests with the customer.

Each ring style has its own feel, and personal preferences; like a snug or loose fit; also play a role. Our handcrafted products may have slight differences in thickness or finish compared to sample models. As a result, we cannot guarantee an identical fit across all styles.

Any cost related to size adjustments or returns for incorrect sizing is the customer’s responsibility. For fully set rings where resizing is not possible, replacements will not be issued.

Product Conformity & Expectations

Handcrafted with Care, Naturally Unique

Because each Uniglo piece is handcrafted, slight variations are natural; and part of what makes your jewelry unique. Differences in setting height, prong shape, band thickness, or surface finish may occur between the final product and showroom samples or website visuals.

These minor differences are not considered defects and do not qualify as non-conformities. Uniglo cannot be held responsible for dissatisfaction resulting from these expected handmade characteristics.

Conclusion of the Contract

Intent to Purchase

When a client selects a product on the Uniglo website and submits their personal details, this is considered an expression of interest; not a confirmed purchase. Clients may choose from:

Products with a fixed price (clearly listed online), or
Products with an indicative price (for tailor-made or customized items).

Once we receive a purchase intention for a fixed-price product, Uniglo will send a formal offer without delay.

For items with an indicative price, we’ll review your request and send a personalized offer via email within 10 working days, closely aligned with your preferences.

Offer Validity & Order Confirmation

Each offer made by Uniglo remains valid for up to 2 working days after it is sent. During this window:

The product will be displayed on our website at the offered price.
You may proceed with the purchase, subject to availability.

If we don’t receive full payment or confirmation of payment (via bank transfer) within 5 working days, the offer will automatically expire. Extensions are possible but must be explicitly granted in writing by Uniglo.

How the Contract is Formed

A legally binding contract is formed only after:

The client unconditionally accepts the offer.
The client accepts our Terms & Conditions.
Uniglo sends an order confirmation via email.

Once confirmed, the agreement is valid even without a physical signature; both parties agree that electronic communication holds the same legal weight.

Conditional Clause on Payment

Each contract is subject to timely payment. If we do not receive payment or a payment confirmation within 5 working days of sending the offer, Uniglo reserves the right to cancel the contract unilaterally, without notifying the customer. This clause is in line with Article 1184 of the Belgian Civil Code.

Cancellation & Breach of Contract

Our return policy begins only after you’ve received the item.

If you cancel before delivery, any loss in value or material cost incurred will be charged.

For customized pieces, once we receive proof of payment, the order becomes final and non-cancellable. No changes or cancellations will be accepted after this point.

Please note:

If the order has shipped outside the European Union, it cannot be cancelled under anycircumstances due to import/export regulations.

Design Confidence for Customized Orders

At Uniglo, we trust the skills and artistry of our expert craftsmen. If a client provides no specific design instructions, our artisans will proceed using their best judgment, balancing aesthetics, durability, and craftsmanship standards.

If a client approves the 3D design drawings without objections, Uniglo cannot be held liable for complaints about the final appearance of the product.

Minor design tweaks may be possible at the end of the production process, but this is subject to our goldsmiths’ discretion and may incur additional charges; with the client’s approval. We also reserve the right to make technical or structural adjustments when necessary to ensure safety, wearability, and longevity.

Partial Payments & Default

If a client pays only part of the total price for a tailor-made piece or special diamond order and fails to pay the remaining amount within the agreed timeframe (or after we confirm the item is ready for delivery), Uniglo may cancel the contract unilaterally.

In such a case:

We are entitled to retain 40% of the total price as a cancellation fee.
The initial payment will not be refunded and will be counted toward this fee.

Uniglo also reserves the right to demand full payment and proceed with order fulfillment at any time.

Showroom Visits

Availability, Access & Security

Our showrooms are experience spaces; not retail stores. Their purpose is to guide and support clients, showcase samples, and provide assistance with navigating our website and catalogue.

Any special requests involving custom pricing or quality changes are handled directly by our headquarters in Belgium.

Please note:

You cannot purchase or take home items directly from any showroom.
Only the Belgium showroom allows for product pickup.
All sales are processed and fulfilled through www.uniglo.com (operated by Uniglo Group N.V.), which handles production, invoicing, and delivery.

What Materials & Diamonds Does Uniglo Use?

At Uniglo, every piece of jewelry is a commitment to purity, quality, and lasting value. We use only the finest materials and gemstones to ensure that your investment is timeless, ethical, and beautiful.

Metals

18K Gold (Au750): Our gold jewelry is made with 75% pure gold, alloyed for strength
and durability.
Platinum 950 (Pt950): For platinum designs, we use 95% pure platinum; ensuring lasting brilliance and resistance.

Diamonds

100% Natural Diamonds Only: At Uniglo, we strictly use natural, untreated, and ethically sourced diamonds. We do not work with lab-grown, clarity-enhanced, or synthetic stones.
Advanced Screening: Each diamond undergoes rigorous inspection using state-of-the-art detection technology to ensure authenticity.
Certified Quality: Any diamond of 0.30 carats or more comes with an official certificate from a globally recognized lab (GIA, IGI, or HRD), detailing its 4 Cs; cut, color, clarity, and carat weight.

Minimum Standards, Potential Upgrades

The diamond quality and weight shown online or quoted is always the minimum guaranteed.
Based on market availability, Uniglo may choose to offer diamonds of higher quality or carat; at no additional cost. However, such upgrades are not applicable to future exchanges or repairs.

Custom Requests

For custom designs, clients are welcome to provide specific diamond preferences. Uniglo will transparently communicate what is possible based on market availability and align the final quote accordingly.
If preferences such as “eye clean” clarity or absence of BGM (brown, green, milky overtones) are requested, these will be assessed by two independent experts. However, because such factors are subjective and not listed on lab certificates, they cannot be grounds for return or dispute.

Kimberley Process Compliance

All our diamonds are sourced from reputable suppliers who comply with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, ensuring that every diamond is conflict-free.
As of 2008, over 99.9% of the world’s diamonds are confirmed conflict-free through this process.
